Sanctuary Choir
Fairhaven’s principal choir, the Sanctuary Choir sings at most services and for all major holidays. This choir sings a large variety of musical styles and, along with our other choirs and small ensembles, performs an annual Christmas concert in December.
Gospel Choir
Fairhaven’s Gospel Choir sings once or twice a month at the worship service and, as its name implies, is focused on traditional and contemporary gospel music. The choir often participates in Gospel programs at area churches and community events, most recently at the Washington, DC premiere of Finding Fellowship. From time to time the Gospel Choir and the Sanctuary Choir combine to sing special music.
This choir plays approximately once every six weeks and participates in all Fairhaven special concerts and musical programs. Fairhaven has a three-octave set of Schulmerich Handbells and a two-octave set of choir chimes.
